Bone-Skinny (2025)

Chloe Winston is a young woman riddled with insecurities about her weight. Exhausted by failed workouts and mounting frustration, she stumbles across a bizarre infomercial late at night while watching television. The ad promotes MagicSlim, a mysterious all-natural herbal supplement that promises rapid, effortless weight loss. The commercial ends with an oddly emphasized instruction to light included candles during use — a detail Chloe finds strange but dismisses.

When the package arrives, it’s filled with herbs, vials, and a bundle of white ritual candles. Though puzzled, Chloe skips the ritual and simply blends the herbs into a smoothie. Overnight, she sheds 25 pounds. Elated, she continues taking the concoction, oblivious to the shadowy figure growing closer to her bedside each night.

What begins as a miracle quickly turns into a nightmare. Chloe grows pale and skeletal, yet can’t stop drinking the smoothies. A demon-like presence haunts her — gaunt, tall, and breathing heavily as it feeds on her vitality while she sleeps. Despite visible signs of decay, Chloe persists, driven by her obsession with thinness. By the time she realizes something is wrong, it’s already too late.
