Alvin Soprano, born Alvin Soprano Romanov on May 16, 1994, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a Russian Italian machinima artist, who is also a writer, director, producer, actress, and voice actress. She is also a gamer, YouTuber, and model. Soprano is best known for creating narrative films from various game engines including The Sims, Fallout, Saints Row, and Grand Theft Auto.

Soprano was raised between Istanbul, Rome, and Moscow. Her international background is reflected in her upbringing, that shows in many of her works, having been born in Istanbul to a Mongolian Armenian mother and a Russian Italian father.

Her filmography primarily explores themes within the horror genre, adding elements of absurdism and dark humor. She often chooses to create offbeat dialogue, strange characters, and awkward animations, aiming to provoke a sense of unease and disorientation in the viewer.

Her interest in horror began at age five after watching Freddy’s Nightmares, a fascination that became a central influence in her artistic career. She studied Literature and Fine Arts in high school before pursuing degrees in Creative Writing, Cinematography, and Animation at university.

Her filmmaking career began on March 27, 2007, with the launch of her first YouTube channel, Soprano Productions, where she released her debut machinima, Something Strange in Strangetown. She produced 17 machinima films before deleting the channel on September 28, 2013. She returned to YouTube on June 28, 2017, with a collaborative channel with Aylin Baykal, where they produced 8 machinimas before the channel was deleted by the duo on October 3, 2018. Soprano launched her current, ongoing YouTube channel on December 4, 2019. After removing her content on March 21, 2021, she returned on December 13, 2024, and has been active since.

In addition to her machinima pursuits, Soprano maintained a horror vlog channel from 2007 to 2011 and again from 2014 to 2019, uploading a total of 240 videos featuring creepypasta readings and commentary on the horror content, mostly on reddit, found online. She has also created six live-action short films between 2013 and 2015 while in film school, acting in some of them. She has been a professional petite model in fashion campaigns and on the runway since 2009.
