Alvin Soprano

Alvin Soprano (born May 16, 1994, Istanbul, Turkey as Alvin Soprano Romanov) is a multimedia artist who is a machinima filmmaker, writer, actress, voice actor, producer and model. She has been active since 2007, producing narrative films using game engines such as The Sims, Fallout, GTA, Skyrim, and Saints Row. Her work spans horror and experimental digital fiction, and is primarily distributed through her platform, Soprano Productions.

She was raised between Istanbul, Rome, and Moscow. Her interest in horror media began in early childhood and became a recurring theme throughout her filmography.

She studied Literature and Fine Arts in high school, and later pursued degrees in Creative Writing, Cinematography, and Animation in university.

She began using The Sims in 2003 and released her first machinima, Something Strange in Strangetown, on YouTube in 2007. Between 2007 and 2012, she produced 17 machinima films before deleting her original channel. She returned in 2017 with a new collaborative channel with Aylin Baykal, later deleted in 2018. In December 2019, she established a new, ongoing platform and has since released a series of short and feature-length machinimas, including Fantasmus (2020), Tales from StrangerVille (2020), Notorius (2021), Rest in Pieces (2024), and Bone-Skinny (2025).

In addition to her machinima work, she has filmed six live-action short films (2013–2015), while she was in film school, and she also took part in some of those movies as an actress. In addition to that she has modeled professionally in fashion campaigns since 2009.

She currently lives and works independently, often collaborating with Jakob Chambers (music) and Matthew Gordon (editing).
